Mountain/Valley
We are creatures born for and from the source of purest love. We are born into this big beautiful land that is rich with opportunity and adventure. We begin this walk of life. We begin this journey to find the source of love we were born for.
Ever Forward
As we set out on this walk we are met with others who are seeking the same goal as us. They seek to find the source of love. Sometimes we’ll travel in pairs or groups as we walk and sometimes we will split from the group and eventually find ourselves in another group. As creatures born for and from purest love you will notice that it is when you find yourself in a group on the same path as you, you will find yourself closer to this source of love I am speaking of.
Ever Changing
Some of you may notice the changes that happen as your journey continues. Changes to you, your surroundings, your likes and dislikes, the way you talk, and the way you listen. Depending on where you are in your journey, you may change into a completely different person. A 16-year-old me would not recognize a 30-year-old me in the slightest.
Formed and Forming
As we move forward, we are constantly being formed. Every valley and every mountain has formed us and is forming us. Who knows what we will look like when we reach the end? Luckily the end is just the beginning. We’ll have an eternity to figure out who that person was and is. In the moment we’re in now, I realize I am the person I am because of the things that I have experienced. All the good and the bad have made and placed me where I am, up to this point. Many of the events of my influence can only be described as divinely orchestrated. I believe there is a God. I know Him as YHWH, Father, Good Shepherd, and Provider. He is that and so much more. He is the source of the purest love that draws me in and terrifies me to the core. The person I am and the people I will be will know no other source of pure love but Him.
Who We Are
This space will be where I and others come to write, journal, share, create, question, praise, and contemplate in the midst of the valley or on the height of the mountain. At this time, I will not share the names. Ultimately, our names are not important. We are on this walk and we don’t know what we’ll look like at the end, but we move forward. At any given moment we may be an artist. Other times we may be a scholar. Whoever we are, we will continue to form into the people we were meant to become.
